Default Cost of USDM 2jzgtte

I've searched but I couldnt find what the cost of a legal USDM 2jzgtte swap.

Also, to register it legally all I have to do is take it to the state reff?

Im in California BTW.

If you swap it into an SC I don't think it is possible to register it legally. I have read that the CA state ref won't pass you. Try this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ht=2jzgte+cost

I'm not sure about the BAR thing, but I remember reading somewhere that as long as the engine is newer than the year of the chassis, it can be passed.

Anyway, USDM 2JZ-GTE swaps are difficult to find, even more so with a Getrag 6-speed. I'm pretty sure Elmhurst Toyota sells new 2JZ-GTE shortblocks.
