Single out is way better, sounds so much cleaner and feels free flowing better than duals. Better for turbo flow. My friend has duals on his na-t and sounds like poop. Go single, flip a coin for which side you want. You just have to patch up the empty side, otherwise it looks dooky.

On a boosted 2jz a single exit sounds ALOT sexier.
I have a dual setup on my Na-T. Asthetically i like the duals better, And i would say mine sounds pretty nice. But the sound is mos def lacking compared to those with single exit single turbo 2jz IMO.
I do have to say though that my setup being dual borlas, wich are pretty tame and also the recirculating wastegate, are probably the culprits.
Larger dual exits and an open WG would probably change my opinion somewhat perhaps.
If i lived anywhere else besides California, I would have done a single exit without a doubt .(drivers side most likely)
Now if i were still N/A on the other hand, I would do a 2 1/4"mandrel bent , No cats ,with resognators(either stock or hi flow) And moderate size dual mufflers.
