Default 1JZGTE...MAF or MAP?

Is the 1JZGTE from the Soarer, MAP or MAF based. Really leaning twards the Greddy E-Manage Ultmate but heard it only works well with MAP instead of MAF sensors.

Awsome, that is what I was hopeing. Users on Supraforums.com said that the greddy e-manage works best with MAP and ****ty with MAF.

I seen some great accomplishments with the Greddy Emanage Ultimate and MAF system. Its going to vary on the application and the tuner.

LSEGHATCH: Its not because the emange ultimate works *****ty with the maf but one of the main features that looked promising is the ability to remove the maf and convert the car speed density (map based). When it came down to it, no one that i know of sucessfully converted to speed density with the emu on a usdm supra.

MDeezy: Are these maf based cars being converted to speed density with the emu? If so, im curious which cars are having success with the emu? Any links?

They are kept with the hot wire MAF. I am specifically reference to the Nissan Maxima. with the latest release of the 2.0 for the EMU, they have been able to adjust timing, raise rev limters, and utilize the 2 step since the EMU can now read the crank signal.

I've seen what would have normally ran 14.3ish run 13.02 with the EMU added and a great tune with good rubber to help.
