Yeah I'm confused too are you guys calling the big cat a resonator. I'm getting ready to do my exhaust and live in NY so I don't want to remove something that is going to trip a CEL and have to worry about passing inspection. Anyone feel like posting up a picture of a stock system and pointing out what you mean by third resonator?

I am referring to the piece of pipe that in the section of the exhaust system where the two pipes have converged into one. Removing this section and installing a straight pipe will be a simple swap that will make the exhaust louder.

Thats the center cat, and thats the current setup I have without it.
