Yes. This isnt the first time I'm starting a car with a manual tranny.

So it's cranking now, it's got fuel and spark, but it doesn't turn on. Could a relay/fuse possibly be bad? Where should I start checking?

hey guys, thanks for all the responses. thanks a lot for all the pics- it should be a REALLY good reference to those that need the info.

I shoved a fuse into that harness last night- the car was cranking, it had fuel, it had spark- but it simply wouldn't turn on. The MAF was connected, so that wasn't the problem.

After re-checking all the wiring, I realized it had to be an ignition/spark issue.

So I removed the distributor. All I had to do was rotate the damn thing 180 degrees, and the car started on the first crank

This obviously wouldn't have been an issue if I didnt remove the motor from the vehicle... but everything seems to be working just fine right now.

I'll update this thread if I run into any more problems, but things seem pretty good right now

Let me re-phrase:

A fuse was shoved in a harness (by you), along with another white dude that grew up with distributors and big block chevy motors, saying "hey al, have u checked the distributor to check the timing?". Mechanical genius!

Better?

Thanks guys Pics will be up in a couple days..
