Stupid Fuel Filter!!! Help

yeah it WILL twist the lines. I looked at my fuel filter. The OEM one... bent. it was cocked at like a 45* angle front how hard I had to push to break the rusty seal. i had to use my legs to push it. It was a pain, and I can max out the machines at school with multiple reps. It was on there GOOD lol

like said.... new hose + fittings = happy filter fun time. BEST mod ever LOL

its worth it IMO.

Heres a few pics of what I came up with for a solution and a few pics of my fitting.








Look how the gas ate the paint off the filter! That will do that to skin LOL

what type of filter are you running now?

OEM? or something else.

purlator, its $15. its working great, CEL is staying off.

part of my arm is red the other part is peeling and puss is coming out of it lol

um... one small problem - is the fuel line that you put the rubber hose on and clamped it flared or anything?

if not, under pressure (40psi +) it may eventually come off while driving...

hasnt caused a problem, its on there well, and even without clamps its not moving
