Anything else needed for the conversion?

there's a 12v jumper to trick the ECU into thinking it's always in Neutral.
What about parking the car? The wheel lock and key removal, how does that work with the Manual?

I took a search on parts.com and came across two very different prices, $1,800 and about $4,800. Both have very little desctiption. Did the v160 come with the TT and NA Supra?

I'm saving up my cash now, when is the next group buy? I know tooooo many questions. I'm just excited for this chance. I'm dying to get on the track.
v160 came with 93-98 TT supras
You might also want to get an Auto Supra TT rear or GS400 rear as stated earlier in the thread.

This is great stuff, I can't wait to pull the trigger on all of this...

If there are a few guys ready to move on now the adapters at least, we can extend the group buy pricing. I don't want to reinstate it in the GB section and hear crickets I think a lot of SC400 guys didn't see that last group buy.

Cowboy: You ha ve adapters in stock? I may put off the LSD purchase and get the adapter plate for now.

My original plans were:
TRD LSD (chose it over the Kaaz)
Magnaflow Exhaust
Tein CS Shocks with force controler

Has any of your SC400 Customers installed the V160 yet? And it'll work on a '98 SC4 ?

We have adapter kits in stock and ready to go.

Here is a pic of a customers MKIV Supra with a 4.0L swap. You can see that the adapter fits perfectly. The SC and the MKIV are VERY similar as far as running gear. All of the 4.0L/4.3L/4.7L motors have the same flange on the motor, so the adapter will work on your '98.

Yes. Vassilli's MKIV is running. It is 4.0L V8TT and runs the V160 / adapter plate. His adapter plate/V160/V8 is pictured above.

Xi, contact me on AIM when you have a chance, I need to get your address for the bolts. I have your set here.

Our clutch kits come with the flywheel suited to the V8, the multiplate clutches/hat, and floating throwout bearing. It's only 100% bolt on V8/V160 clutch in existance. We've got that covered

We would, but much of it is stock components. The average SC400 owner can call the dealership and get 80% of what he needs right there. The driveshaft is only ~$300.00 from driveshaftshop.com, and I don't want to mark an item like that up. It would be much more cost effective to the owner to track down the simple stock items he/she needs along with the driveshaft. It's really easy to do. The hard part of getting the adapter and clutch made is done, so it's clear sailing once you have that.

Thanks for clearing up the clutch/flywheel issue. That scared me for a sec.

THe pic you posted makes more sense to me now that i've seen the other parts. To the left is the adapter plate mating to the engine. It's a nice set up and i really like this.

Next year's race day i'll tear up the track with the V160.

$575 for the adapter and $1575 for the clutch kit w/TB. Regular price is $749.00 for the adapter and $1650.00 for the clutch kit w/TB. I can extend the GB is there are some SC owners ready to go on at least the adapter now.

Thanks guys,

Eric
