well i went out and pulled the efi fuse to reset the dtc

i check the codes and the CEL was just blinking really fast

then i tried to start it and it showed code 12 and 24 again but 31 didnt show up, would a messed up intake air temp sensor do that

but it wont stay on, just sounds like it runs on 4 cylinders and dies

this is starting to irritate me. it was fine a couple months ago, then it did it every once in a while, then every cold start, now all the time, and now it cant even stay on

well i was driving it again today after trying to start it for half an hour.

it ran and i got about 3 miles down the road then it just died completely. it wouldnt even fire up anymore.

and now i have a check engine light for code 78... fuel pump control... so i guess its that lil ecu in the side back seat.... the other codes are no longer there except code 12 (rpm signal, knock) and now 78...

maybe it was giving out and thats whats causing all my problems... and now it totally gave out...

i wonder if i could still bypass it and make it work cuz its stuck at walmart right now

well i just keep posting stuff just incase others have the same problem bc i sure as hell searched and didnt find jack

it IS my fuel pump control ECU, i bypassed it by jumping Fp and +b in the diagnostic and it fired up perfectly the first try

now i need to find another fuel pump ECU

i'm having cold start problems as well.
when you crank it it sounds like it fires but then it just dies right away and won't start at all if its under 70 degrees.....
