Change out freezeout plug-97 sc300?
i was told the freeze out plug is bad. does anyone know how to change this out ? 97 sc300 stock 4 now. also any pics or info on its exact location?

there are several freeze plugs on the right side of the engine, you can purchase new plugs are most auto parts stores, all ya do is remove the old plug then press the new one in, usually with a hammer and some sort of dowel. i believe there are some freeze plugs in the head if im not mistaken. is your car leaking coolant? im assuming so. the plugs allow the coolant/water to have an escape route if the coolant freezes.

yes it its leaking. thanks now i understand how it works. now i just have to trace it out. is this usually a hard process? should i be worried about it pushing threw?
