since i started this thread, i should finally contribute to it. i just got these magnaflow oval tips installed. this thread has been helpful as well as enjoyable for all us SC owners!

I'm going a bit of a different route with mine, I think. I may be driving my SC a lot more often once I move to PA, almost daily driver status. I'm going to have a 3" electronic exhaust cutout welded to the 3" downpipe that I bought for my 1JZ... that way it will have hopefully a decently sporty sound with the stock SC300 remaing exhaust, then with a press of a button have the power of the open down-pipe I've been running for a few months now.

This is the Tanabe muffler, which should be available in the July-August time-frame. It's about the same volume as stock, but lower-pitched (my neighbor described it as a powerboat).
