Hey whats up, I was getting my car tuned and it turns out i dont have the ignition wire to the greddy emanage, which limits the tuning. also i need to recirculate my hks ssq bov. from my understanding you cannot recirculate it is this true? should i just buy AEM? im lost can you please post your setups to help me out perhaps?

If you dont have a VPC or have not converted your air meter to a map based system, your car will stall every time you let off the gas with an atmospheric bov.
What you need to do is get the ignition wire soldered in, and get a recirculating kit for the HKS SSQV. They can be sourced from many online shops and even ebay, although Im restricted from posting the links.

Make sure you have the ignition harness since I believe it was an addon -- you get a few additional wires you had to plug into the main harness. Without it you will not be able to set your timing.
And if you're dead set on NOT recirculating with a MAF ... the emanage can compensate for the lost air but it's not perfect. I've done this on my other car that uses the original BLUE emanage. There's an ANTI-ENGINE STALL option where you can specify at what TPS % and RPM to clamp the air signal output. Basically it allows you to force an air value when you decellerate so the engine doesn't stall out. Like I said though, it's not perfect; you'll stall if you accellerate hard then hit the brakes suddenly cause the emanage can not react fast enough.
You should look into converting your MAF to MAP setup. Unfortunately I don't think the original emanage was able to do that. I personally prefer the MAP-ECU over the blue emanage, or the newer ultimate emanage (the chrome/silver one)

I remember researching on www.clubna-t.com and most said the greddy emanage doesn't work very well on the SC's. Even the guy who tuned my car said they it's hard to get the emanage to work on the SC's.
Recently, my bro just bought a greddy emanage and he had a lot of trouble getting it to work on his mr2 turbo. He finally gave up and bought a AEM EMS!

Even though AEM EMS is expensive it really is the best thing to have. You can do so much with it. My situation is just to keep my car like it is with just SAFC2 and then later on add an HKS VPC so I can get rid of the MAF. Either that or save up and get the AEM EMS, turn up the more boost, and get a getrag v160 6spd! But that's not going to happen for awhile.
Good luck with your project, keep us updated!

if ur having stalling issues run your MAF in blow-through setup which is inline with the cold side of your intercooler piping here is where i put mine no stalling issues. but u cant boost more than 10 psi its not accurate
