Ok guys I will most likely tackle it this weekend or maybe even tommorrow. Most likely I will change out the crank pulley out first and see if that makes any difference. How will I be able to test either one of them with the belt off?

I'm curious about this myself, as I'm having the same problem. I used chalk to mark the pulley and belt, then ran the car with the little squeaks as you described. My belt was slipping, but it's tight as well w/ 1/4 inch of play.

UPDATE: So I finally got around to changing this, found a crank pulley online and also ordered a new a/c compressor since thats what fletcher's said the problem was. Took off the belt to find the crank pulley had separated from the hub causing the sound. Check your crank pulleys guys!

mitsuguy you are absolutely correct, I had the belt off before too and for some reason never checked the crank pulley. It was very easy to tell that was the problem. Thanks guys for your help!
