Thanks again for all the compliments and interest-- My goal for this system is for it to be fully mandrel bent with no stock pieces left save the dump pipes behind the cats-- I'll cut into those just behind the O2 bungs-- I'll keep the size to 2.25" for the pipes and primaries-- Maybe even after boost as well--

These just don't look ricey to me-- and the center of the tip is removable-- A flat cut may look better than the angled cut tip though I can agree --

For the price and the fact that they're 304 stainless it's hard to beat --

I want mine tucked up and pointing down more--

That exhaust system pictured is done incorrectly-- It needs a balance pipe-- h or x -- or a center pipe --

a "TRUE DUAL" exhaust has no balance pipe, but a true dual system has uneven velocities and pressures acting upon the gas particles within the exhaust system. This is counter productive to performance.

By balancing the exhaust gases with an X or H pipe, the gas particles within the system will flow more regularly, allowing for a more efficicent system.

The stock exhaust system is actually very good for OEM. The headers are most restrictive followed by the center single pipe that includes either a catalytic converter or resonator. The stock mufflers and cats are actually very good. In addition, the 2.25" piping is proper for the V8.

Well-- by the time it exits the rear Y the pipe size is closer to 1.75-- so that's next to go --

I doubt the headers are that bad-- I'm sure they're not perfect though--

A true dual will only work exactly as it should on a balanced and blueprinted motor-- Ours are actually balanced from the factory so it may not be that bad, but combining all 8 pulses will help scavenging stay more linear b/t pulses-- which helps hp and tq --

I believe even many high powered cars use balance pipes also--
