Default Leaky Waterpump

So I was on a roadtrip this weekend to go see some friends. I was about an hour and a half away from home when I decided to pull over for some gas. As I was up to the front of the car I notice that there is a long line of coolant coming out of the bottom side of the water pump. Has anyone ever seen this before? There is a notch right underneath the neck of the pump near the pulley. The coolant was shooting out of there like a high powered water gun. Is this a common problem? If so what can I do to fix it? If not then I will be shopping around for a new pump.

My car is a 92 SC300 5speed with about 180k miles. Coolant was flushed 3 months ago with Toyota red coolant.

The only fix is to replace the water pump. Its an easy repair.
