You must tune both or the car wont run properly under low throttle settings, it would be lean or rich, neither of which is good.

There is no magic setting for the correction % it depends upon the injectors you are running. For instance when I was using 370cc injectors I was at +50% for many of the settings, when I went to 440cc injectors those same settings changed to -35%

I should also add the closer you are to the 14.7 the less issues you will have with the ECU trying to fool with the long term trim. For instance if you are running around at 12 afr at 1600 rpm the ECU will try to correct that but if you are dialed in at 14.7 at 1600 rpm then the ECU will be happy and wilil not really try to adjust it that much over time.

dec air settings...............Once you have finished or have gotten your tune kinda close then you can mess with the dec settings. But if you have ever heard a car go from WOT and then let off and there a popping sound. That's probably because the car needs some fuel during its deceleration. You need to leave the car in gear when doing this. So say your in 3rd gear (leaving it in 3rd) and you go full throttle (I would just take it to maybe 5000rpm)and then let off and you hear that kinda popping noise try adding 5% in the dec setting area. The popping will start to go away. You might have to add more then 5 or 10% but most cars clear up around that point.
