It uses a ground to turn on, not a 12 volt supply. it is in my thread. are you using the v1 or v2?

I'm gonna read how to put a relay there instead of that ecu back there. My stock ecu craps out when it gets warm. No I don't have leaky caps, its just a bad ecu.

this works for the SC300, SC400 and Supra. they all use this Fuel pump ECU. just the supra has a different location. the SC's have them located behind a panel on the drivers side, back seal area. u have to remove both back seat and bottom seat cushions. and remove the panel were the seat belt winds up.

I have a 92 sc300 2jz ge motor.
I know where the ecu is located, i was just curious if this mod is suggested for my set up?
I tried to start my car lastnight but nothing, it sounded like there was no fuel going to the engine.
Any advice?

you tried both ways. jumping FP and B+ on the dianostic connector? and jumping the 2 fat wires at the fuel pump ecu harness plug?

that how it is on my car.

I have a na-t and i was having issues getting it started today. I was told to try this mod and it started up my sc300 on the first crank. I'll test it out tonight to see what happens when im in boost.

okay so my car (1993 manual Sc300, 2jzge-NA) died on friday after driving for like secen minutes and it wouldnt turn on, and when it did it turned on for like 2 seconds... so i let it sit at my friends (after i pushed it there) n let it till sat. then i picked up n drove off...it died after like 7 minutes. im guessing after it heats up it dies...

sounds like the ECU could be the problem? any of you guys have the same problem and did this? did it work and how log has it worked? any negatives from doing this?

Mmm...the ECU doesn't work with temperatures and when it fails, the problem is only starting the car, once it's running after some seconds, you're good to go.

Default Would you try this if you we're stalling during driving ?

92 sc 300 , daily driver ..stalls.. Sometimes starts right up and proceed only to do again and other times not at all. Wouldn't the pump just quit all the way..

I recently rewired my Aeromotive 340lph pump, using a 10 gauge racetronix universal harness and triggering it on with the fuel pump ecu positive out so that I retain the ecu control when engine is off.

Is it possible that the stock FPR cannot discharge enough fuel causing base fuel pressure to rise and thus causing my rich idle issues? Keep in mind I have no way of reading fuel pressure. Has anyone else experienced this? I have an aftermarket FPR / rail / and lines ready to delete all the stock stuff but just wanted to see if this is a known issue with larger pumps at idle.

The issue I'm having is that my idle A/F is not consistent, it will be very rich and then lean at times and I think it's due to the stock FPR not being able to handle it.
