By the way, consider getting either or both after market radiator and the electric fans (pair) when you upgrade from SMIC to FMIC on 2JZ-GTE.

Otherwise, you will be sweating your panties off when you sitting on the traffic light during hot summer day.
What's different

I've seen people use mkiv 2jzgte fmic kits on SC's with 1jz and 2jzgte even the Supra NA-T fmic kit fit on na-t SC's.

So, you have seen people using the same kit for 1JZ & 2JZs, etc...
I see....!

What kind FMIC were they using?
2 roll, 3 rolls, big, small?

Where did they purchase the FMIC kits from?

How about radiators?
OEM or aftermarket?

How about Turbos?
Single set up, sequential twin, bi-turbo?

We had to customize my FMIC pipes when we swapped 2JZGE to 2JZGTE.
We had to custom make the FMIC bracket to fit in the SC.

By they way, what is your engine set up?
I am just curious.

I had a friend use a mkiv TT greddy fmic kit when he went GTE he was on stock twins. He used stock radiator and had no issues with fitting. Single kits obviously will have to be changed on the hot side with either car mkiv or SC. Only modding that will be needed is the mounts for the intercooler. There's a local member here using the boostlogic na-t fmic kit from the supra on his setup and he said he had no issues. I have a single 1jzgte the fabricator at the shop made my pipes it's one piece on each side of the intercooler no extra couplers to pop.

I cannot really tell you because each car and set-up is different.
You might need longer piping or get by with the longer connecting hoses.

Overheating with the big FMIC is known problem for Supra TTs.
FMIC blocks radiator from getting the fresh air so you are OK if you are moving. However, it becomes nightmare if you are sitting in the traffic.
A/C blows hot air as the temp needle goes up.
It gets really hot.

You see, there is difference because my HKS FMIC piping did not fit.
I wish I knew about Greddy FMIC kit before we fabricated piping....

What are you pulling on dyno?

I'm going to dyno soon but I'm only expecting around 360rwhp. I have a 2.5L I6 with PT 61 with Tial 44 gate(15.9 psi), 440cc injectors and Sard ECU with unknown mods lol. WOT is 10.0AFR I have a safcII I'll put in to help tune.

A precision core with custom piping is the best bet. I had a fabricator put together a kit for me using my fmic and universal ebay piping. He rolled all the edges too. He kept the specs and measurement but my system will need battery located or slim battery and requires cutting holes. My system is made with as less bends as possible.
