well he had a sc4 and i have a sc4 but he has a 96......and i have a 92.....well it goes on top but doesnt actually fit on top like there is to much of something underneath of it...plus the nail holes dont touch so i need a lonnnnngggg screw
you may have to unbolt the plastic pieces covering parts of your own engine first (not sure if you did that). also, the studs that hold the cover on are indeed very long.
where can i get the screws that are long enough for the engine cover????
you could order the exact part at the dealer. Or, if you knew the thread pattern, you could pick some up at the hardware store. I think there are three bolts, and they are probably only a couple bucks each at the dealer.

If they're as long as the top throttle body bolts on the SC3's, he's likely going to have to go to the dealer. I hit up 4-5 different hardware stores around KC not finding anything long enough before I ended up spending $2 at the dealership.
