Default ??Help with oil pan removal on sc300??

So ive got my car in the air and am ready to do a new oil pan gasket...but damn, how does it come out? Is there a trick to getting it past the crossmember? If anyone can give me some insight in the very very near future, i would be forever in your debt. Thanks in advance

I think you have to scoot the loose pan all the way forward and then dip the other side down below the crossing subframe. I just had mine replaced. That's what I observed at least. The tech struggled with it for about 30 seconds before it actually came out. Hope this helps.

I can help you find the engine forum. That's about it though, don't have an SC3.

remove the motor mount bolts, jack the engine a little bit, and slide the pan out.

you need to remove that brace that blocks the oil pan from sliding out .
