There is really no system in the states specifically for the SC400. The SC300 systems do work with modification in the midpipe region.

However, to make a truly great exhaust for the SC400, I would definitely suggest doing your homework and getting one custom built.

For an n/a car, I would strongly suggest S&S headers for their more appropriately-sized primary pipe diameter (as compared to the Aussie headers).

If you intend to only go from the cat-back, I would suggest an X-pipe and a pair of mufflers only for a nice bold exhaust note. Straight-through glass-packs tend to perform best on the dyno, whereas chambered mufflers get a little tricky to work with when it comes to exhaust flow dynamics.

If you can find a mandrel-bending exhaust shop, I would go 2" dual. But, if you go crush bent, I would stick to 2.25". 2.25" mandrel bent would be nicely and bold (larger pipe means more sound), but the flow is probably overly sufficient and will hurt your low end (where the SC struggles to begin with).

A full cat-back can be done for $2-300 in parts and $2-300 in pipe and labor at your local exhaust shop (perhaps even less expensive). Going from the headers back requires about double the budget since headers are not cheap.

If my goal were sound and maybe some throttle response to boot, I would go cat-back with an X-pipe and straight-through glasspacks (2.25" crush bent or 2" mandrel bent). If you were willing to overpay for a 6-10% increase in horsepower to have a truly complete exhaust system, I would suggest going from S&S Headers back to the mufflers in the same way as is described above.
