Default Frankenstein my whip

Hey guys i am the proud owner of a 92 5speed sc300. i love the car so much that I think I'm going to buy a 99 sc300 this weekend. Here's the thing, i really want to drive a stick but the 99 doesn't have one. I'm also poor. How feasable would taking the transmission out of the 92 and shoving it into the 99 be? I've searched the forum and I haven't seen anyone else do it.

Should be a straight forward swap taking all the manual crap (pedal, trans, ecu, driveshaft, diff, etc.) and sticking it in the 99. How are you poor when you are buying anther SC lol.

if you already have a stick in the 92, why don't you just use the funds that were goings towards obtaining the 99 and upgrade the 92? it would probably cost less in the long run. you could also go whole hog and sell the 92 and use the proceeds from that sale to swap a 6 speed into the 99. THAT would be worthwhile.

I like my 92, don't get me wrong but it isn't in the greatest shape. I have to replace basically the entire interior, do bodywork I would want to change the color the exterior and the interior soooo... I just decided it'd be nice to start with a nice looking car since I bought mine in such bad shape.

I'm going to sell the 92 after I get the 99
