Default replace timing belt after 50k of use?

so ive got a cracked / busted Harmonic Balancer (crankshaft pully) on my 95 sc300... is it worth it to replace the timing belt now? i dont think so, but i wanted to get some feed back from others...

the timing belt was replace at 98k and now im sitting at 150k... by lexus standards ive got about 40k left... but if im in there should i replace the timing belt anyway?

if you intend to have the car for more than 75k miles more, I would do it. If there is a non-negligible chance that you get rid of the car within 50k miles, I would not do it.

Personally, this decision all depends on how long you intend to keep the vehicle as to whether or not you will be getting the appropriate value from the belt change.

i cahnged my belt at 138k miles for teh first time and it was still ok. i bought the car with 129 so if i had the car earlier i would have done it a lot sooner. i say go for it if you have to take the ballancer off anyways.
