ok did some more research and studied the wiring diagram today.
found out there is a devise called "Yellow Box" that could be purchased at.
http://www.blackrobotics.com/yb_home.htm

they have a diagram of how it should be wired in.
my question is i was looking at the wiring diagram for teh 97 sc300 of the
#1 vehicle speed sensor that is located somewhere on the transmission. and it looks like that is where the Speedo gets the signal from. on the directions of how to wire this unit in it says to obviously hook up the power and ground. and then to hook up the IN and OUT signals. looks like out cars have a 3 wire speed sensor if you look at the wiring diagram that 2JZ_SC posted. and if you look at the schematic for the speed sensor look slike the yellow wire is only for the 12v power. i needed to know how which wire color is teh IN and which is the OUT. and how would i wire this in.

If you put battery + to terminal 1 and battery ground to terminal 2, check the voltage change on terminal 3, The voltage change is what the "computer" or "processor" is looking for. That would be your output to the cluster.

i will install the LSD diff next week and i will see if it really changes the speedo. if i dont like it i will buy this yellow box. and post a DIY on the install. also would you splice this in right at the sensor and run the wires inside when i would mount the box maybe under the seat somewhere.

It wouldn't be stupit. You'll have to get a solution for all the problems you'll come to when you go turbo. AEM EMS is the solution. It also comes with a base map for stock car so you can drive it around. Althrough you can find a cheaper way to fix the problem you will not have to hack your harness or much else.
