This thread should give you a good idea of the level of fabrication required to pull of the twin GT28R's. There is a lot of plumbing, but the performance is great.
Ryan, SC400T, is putting twin GT28R's on the V8 is his SC400. He is expecting to make 600+whp with absurd spool. The GT28R's on the 2JZ would simply mean quicker spool than on the 1JZ (where the link above is advertising full boost -20psi- at 3800rpm).
The number of times that an na-t build has included twin GT28R turbos is likely a single digit number. Such a set-up is generally considered difficult and not worth the added headache in custom fabrications when a single turbo can spool similarly fast and blow similarly hard without the headache. Nevertheless, dual GT28R's would kick ***.

I think I'm going to try my luck with the 2JZGE..I think....The LS1 sounds tempting because it has no turbos lol no IC piping no intercooler.... and i already have the tranny..And the tranny for the JZ is a handful the six speed is expensive then i gotta find all that stuff for it...Ill just ask my so of my budds because im stuck in the middle

if you get frustrated quick, do not try the LS1 swap. that will take enormous amount of patience.
The R154 transmission is a cheaper alternative to the V160, and it will hold about everything an na-t can throw at it so long as the clutch can keep up. I got mine for $100, and I am using Genuine Toyota Parts to convert it to use the appropriate shifter location for the SC.
My advice is to do more research. Needing response and top end on a drift car the 61-67mm turbo range is likely the sweet spot. Search this forum and clubna-t. Also scan Supraforums for various set-ups to see what people have produced with a given set of modifications.

Yeah those cars are AE86's that weight 1800 pounds so 100 hp is all they need compared to 3500 pound car (sc300 at stock weight needs a lot more hp and a lot more torque to get moving) besides the 4age that comes in the AE86 100 hp is a lot for that motor...I had a LS1 in my 240sx for 1 1/2 year's with anything seriously going wrong with it...Now I might be dropping one i my SC not sure yet that twin GT setup dude was telling me about about sounded good so i don't know I know when i complete my research on the 2JZGE I've been on the ClubNA-T website and gained a lot of info on the motor and I just need to experience the motor for myself...to have a opinion about this motor b/c i know squat about it....So U say the 2J is more reliable ok I don't but i do know that the LS1 is because i own one....

Yeah that would be cool...I hate going into tandem's with those things there so fast it takes a skilled driver to keep up with them because they barely break traction unless its a Hybrid 86 with a SR20DET inside of it then its easier....
