TurboB6 -that's a super clean SC300 you have at dynosaur, I got there late due to a bad turbo.

Marek955i - I'm running the 6 speed with a rps pressure plate and hpf 6 puck disc.

So it's basically a GTE without the oil squirters and the GTE pistons? Where's the surprise?

You're also aware you will have rod bearing issues shortly, aren't you? You might want to datalog your oil pressure to shut down before it tosses the rod out the side. It is a common issue over 900 whp on stock internals. It's also why there are Clevite bearings for the 2JZ.

None. He's using a GTE head. That's far from NA-T.

Ask Bullish Racing. I was with them in Palmdale when Ara was running the MSB Supra to another win at Turbos & Tumbleweeds. They had to do an emergency rod bearing change before the final round. Their MoTeC telemetry showed low oil pressure - peaked at 40 psi - and this was on a stock GTE block. This is why there are Clevite bearings for 2JZs now.

Thanks! There were a few more details I wanted to finish up but ran out of time.

Were you having trouble with the replacement turbo as well? It almost sounded like it was surging?

Its no secret both 1jgte and 2jgte stock can do the whole 900 hp thing but.... the question is how long will it last .Na-t barely see that amount of power due to lack of timing control etc ,This is why people use a gte head on a na block .The gte and a na-t head are two different ceatures imo.

Most of the 1jz guys I know are now 1.5 so they have the NA shorblock already. I thought about going that route too but Im going full 2jzgte instead.

Here we go again someone got excellent numbers on a GE with GTE head and now it turns into another na-t vs 1jzgte battle reminds me of the ka-t vs sr battles on zilvia.net when I had my 240

(: poke: :jab: @ 1jz)

Congrats man on the 970whp. Good thing these na-t's are plentiful... now to find a cheap 240 shell from a non-240sx modifier who thinks they're worth more than gold!

TurboB6 - yeah, I'm still debating on which turbo to go with after this one.
