yeah we got caught up in the other issues and forgot to install the GTE pump we got with the swap. When i stopped by tonight bobby had removed all 6 fresh plugs he put in earlier in the day and i noticed all 6 tips were already somewhat powdery white indicating lean running conditions. Then it hit us about not doing the pump

im a neon guy, have been for the last 9 years but am an open minded car enthusiast first and foremost aside from being very mechanically inclined. My side "hobby" is modding neons/SRT4s/turboDodges so ive done my fair share of swap, turbo kit installs, clutch jobs...etc so i could say im not a n00b to the scene but am new to the toyota/lexus crew. I helped bobby with his with the plans on doing something different/more radical with whatever project i undertake in the next few months

two of my creations...of course the info in the credits is a bit off they spike 26psi drop to 17-18psi. I drove both SRT4s

red one makes 350-360fwhp...silver makes 380-390fwhp

welcome to the club,

you have been warned about the 4k cut, i hope yours is solved faster than mine.

i am tackling mine next weekend,

swapping out all the sensors, crank, knock and cam sensors

and if that doesnt solve it, i already have a whole wire harness that i will swap.

How did you guys extend the knock sensor wires???

Are you sure its timed correctly since you guys replaced the timing belt?

Does it have new plugs? If so what is the gap?

Are there any cracks on the coil packs?

All the vacumm lines connected?

Do you have a CEL?

Were any of the sensors damaged from shipping?

Is the car hitting boost?

Nice to see you guys today. Car feels good for not going over 4k rpms.

You'll get it.

it spools but it starts to misfire once you put a good load on the engine or you reach 3k rpm
