Need a few 1j swap confirmations
Ok I have a 92 sc300 5spd. Ive read alot of posts about this stuff but a few say otherwise. I wanna make sure before i buy **** i dont need, or before i dont buy somthin I do need.
1. Tach adapter- 8910-EIS is the the for sure correct one?
2. Ive heard you can run a 2j temp sensor and not have to do the whole resistor thing. Is this true?
3. Having a reallly hard time finding a TT P/S resovoir. has anyone used the SC one and had peoblems besides looks?
4. Finally, where are you guys hooking in your brake booster line, I havent seen this one anywhere.

1. No need for the 8910 EIS (take out your tach, take off the white plastic cover and you will see an R109 resitor i think, solder 1 wire between both terminals.
2. No need for a resitor, you just need to ground one of the body plug wires, do a search you will find what I am talking about.
3. You can use your old 2JZGE resevoir, there is DIY on club lexus search and you will find it, that how i did mine, you just need to drill and tap. very easy instructions.
4. The brakes are an independant system, the only thing they might need from the engine is some vacuum lines and yes they mate perfectly between 2JZGE and 1JZ
Good luck
