Aluminum is easy just get a tig wleder. I mean if you dont know how to weld you can do it enough to get the job done just wont look as clean.

2.5" Hot and 3" Cold..........my pipes are welded too total of four couplers on the entire system.

Yup thats the best way to do it. So your not driving with all kinds of couplers poping off

There is no universal size. Just because someone is running (x) size doesn't mean it'll fit your application.

It depends on your turbo outlet size. If it's a 2.5'' outlet you wouldn't want to run anything smaller than that diameter. And on the cold side you might want to something close to the TB size, but no larger.

Just think about what would cause restrictions and hurt flow. And also remember larger diameter piping will create lag.
