ECM specific difference that makes a big deal - JDM is MAP (speed density) and USDM is MAF (mass airflow.) This makes a big difference for piggybacks.

being a jdm ecu i thought i would make my speedo off...because the run KPH and we use MPH...but i found out that it has nothing to do with ECU...and its all in the speed sensor in the tranny i have which is W58

So... If I bought a JDM front clip it would still be a pretty big pain to install? does anyone have a rough estimate of the addtional cost after buying the front clip?

You'd still need the oilpan and you'd need to decide on a tranny option plus harness options. JDM harness exits engine bay on opposite side and is different than the Supra and Soarer harnesses

So the W58 wouldn't work huh? Dealing with the harness sounds like a PITA but besides that, it doesn't seem too bad.
