Boosting my 95SC4 and some other projects

The IAT is in the pipe right before the 90 that goes into the throttle body. Pretty much straight across from where the hose for the idle air control motor goes.
The MAP sensor is plumbed to the large nipple on the front of the manifold. Note, the MAP sensor cannot share a vac line with the power steering idle up switch, the engine will stall when turning the wheel.
Look back a few pages and you'll probably find some pics.

Hey guys,
Went back to the 1/8 mile track this last Thursday.
Best time was 8.79. Improvement. Still having traction issues. An 8.79 in the 1/8 mile should put me around 13.6 in the quarter.
At this point, I don't see any reason to go back until I find some wheels / tires, I really think my time would greatly improve with traction. I currently cannot launch anywhere near my stall speed of 2800 rpm.

Time for an update..
I have just purchased a set of Supra TT wheels. I am currently tire shopping. I plan on putting 275/40's in the rear and 245/45's in the front.
A 275 will give me about 4 inches more rubber on the road. Hopefully, this will be enough to allow me to launch with the throttle wide open. If so, I expect my times to drop drastically. Currently, I'm lucky if I can launch at 2200rpm and very little throttle opening without spinning. If I could manage to launch at stall with the throttle wide open, I would leave the line with a couple psi of boost.
If anybody has any reccomendations on a good sticky tire, let me know. Unfortunately, my budget is very low, otherwise I'd get a pair of drag radials.
Hopefully I'll everything sorted by Thursday nights test and tune.
I'll post numbers of course.

Couple of quick updates!
Thanks to Scott, I have purchased a set of TT wheels, should be here Tuesday. I have also ordered 4 Sumitomo HTR III tires which should also arrive on Tuesday. 275 40 17 for the rear and 245 45 17 for the front. Again, best case, I'll be able to launch at stall with the throttle wide open. Hopefully with the 275's and the slightly heavier wheels (I'm assuming the TT 17's are slightly heavier?) I'll launch without spin.
I will likely be going to either a 1/4 mile track on Wednesday or back to the 1/8 mile track on Thursday.
In anticipation of being able to lauch at higher RPM, I finally decided to install the transmission fluid cooler I've had laying around forever. I'm actually using two coolers, the second one being the OEM hydro fan cooler that was removed. The fluid circuit is like this - transmission to OEM cooler in the radiator - to the aftermarket cooler, which is mounted to the front side of my intercooler - to the recycled hydro fan cooler, mounted in somewhat the same position it was originally, but on the passenger side - back to the transmission. Should decrease transmission temps quite a bit!
I'll update with some pics and new times soon, and, hopefully some track videos!

Got paint happy today, let me know what you guys think.
I really didn't like the gold, so I thought I'd try black. I'm surprised how much I actually like it. I didn't do the best job in the world, will need to get some new emblems and try again, but looks good for now.
Also, any opinions on the horrible gold exhaust tips. I'm thinking about sanding the gold off and leaving them silver.

BTW, it was starting to get dark so I took these pics before putting the SC400 emblem back on.
