Sweeet! I have been throwing around this idea because my buddy is building a new engine for his Camaro soon and we were thinking that freshining up his old ls1 and throwing a small cam in it would work nice in the lexus. Not super soon but def interested in the kit!

I am also wondering what your are doing about wiring the engine & ecu to work with the SC electronics (i.e. gauges, climate control, etc...)? Also, what all are you going to include in your kit? What all needs to be modified on the car for the engine to swap in? In the 240 the front crossmember had to be chopped up and an LS2 GTO oil pan used to make it rear sump so that it could clear it. I haven't had much time to look into the design of the SC so I was wondering if anything like that came up.

Awesome. I can't wait. I wanted to do the LSx swap into my old 240 but all dreams of that were shattered when I totaled it. Great to know that someone is making a kit for my SC4. BTW, LS1 > *. I heard that God Himself created the LSx engine and handed it down to man.

The extent to the car modifications will be the modified rear crossmember (rear lewer control arm mout) modification. This will require the customer sending their crossmember in an exchange basis. As soon as the guy our transmission is coming from quits dragging his heels, we'll build it and post pictures. Stay posted. The basic kit will include engine brackets, urethane mounts, trans crossmember (at the machinists being made now), and the restructured rear crossmember to clear tye pan. The stock Camaro type pan is what you see in the pictures, and is what the kit is being designed around. The GTO oil pan is front sump.

Small runs of custom fab work done well are never cheap. I bet it's still cheaper than you could try to weld it all up your self and have to do it 3x to get it right.
