Lex, first and foremost, this is a great build! Good job, keep it up! Still as an inspiring 1uz guy, I have a few questions for you.
1. How is timing? As far as the belt goes, did everything line up the same? I know the UZ (well most toyota engines for that matter) is a none-interference motor, but did everything go smoothly, or did you use the cometic head gasket to raise the heads a bit from the block?
2. What is the compression stock on the 2uz? Also, I'm wondering deck/head height, hypothetically speaking, if you were to just slap 1UZ heads on the 2UZ block, what's the compression looking like?
3. Why didn't you use the 2UZ head?
4. Roughly how much should we be paying for a 2uz block?
5. When you going to release these mounts to the rest of the community?!
I'm sorry for bomb-barding you with questions, but I'm dying to know!

David, you are definitely the man. You talk about Ryan, Scott, Khris, and I as being inspirational; but, I can say -with confidence- that if it was not for you, we would not be where we are today. The foundation that you have laid for the V8 community is just awesome. It is always nice to know that I have Lextreme to pick me back up should I ever stumble and fall with a technical issue or inquiry.
As for this 4.7L SC, it is amazing. It is already one kick *** car. Once you are twin turboed, holy crap. The torque you are producing at 2k rpm on the stock motor has to be enough to convert the 3L GTE purists.
I hope that I am able to make it down to V8-08 (final date dependent). If I am able, I will be there. The chance to see the 4.7L, Ryan's TT, and Scott's 6spd in the same parking lot will likely never happen again.

Thanks Guys,
I really am trying to drive the car more and break in the engine faster. I would like to do a N/A when the engine is broken in. I think with high compression the car would be very wild. However, this motor was built for turbos. Even with 8.8:1, this is a very fun street car already. I have two T3/T4 turbos with .48 A/R will definately wake up this beast very early. I have 275 in the rear and the tires still spin when taking off from a light. Imagine stock tires and higher compression with good exhaust.
Thanks Blizzy for the kind words and thanks for the credit you have given me.

Got the dyno today after 250 miles. The numbers are as expected. Restritive exhaust, stock intake, stock ecu, stock injectors and lower compression. The engine ran extremely smooth from idle to 6,400 rpm.
Max RWHP: 226
Max WRTQ: 256
With higher compression and free flow exhaust we should see at least 30-35 rwhp gain. Another factor is that I have a sensor issue and the check engine light comes on. That will cause the ecu to retard timing. That definately cause some hp for sure.
Stock Tundra 4.7L dyno at 205 rwhp. So its not bad. I just love the lowered end torque.
Imagine a 800 rwhp Supra dyno without a turbo... My engine was built for turbo application so the dyno result is as expected. I am extremely happy wiht the torque curve. Remember this is untune stock ecu and injectors.

Peak torque under 4k with such aggressive cams is amazing.
I see you have the redline set over 6k. Are you using the 1UZ ECU to utilize the higher redline? The stock 2UZ only revs to 5400, right?
