Blizzy,

When I build this engine, I wanted this engine to rev like 1uzfe but at the same time low end torque like 2uzfe . So there is a secret to my build. LOL..... I am pretty satisfy with the result as we wait for the twin turbo to kick in few months or less. I think exhaust is a huge restriction along with my sensor issue. Otherwise, we would see some interesting numbers. N/A high compression with good exhaust and BFI will be a very fun daily street driving car.

Honestly, I really hate to wait for torque at 6,000 rpm. From the dyno graph above, even at 2.5K to 3K. The torque curve shoots straight up. That was the reason why I picked the iron block instead of the 1uzfe. My combo is the best of both world. Rev like 1uzfe but torque like 2uzfe.

I put over 1,500 miles on my SC470 with 4 oil changes already. Now this baby only gets Mobil 1 from now on. The engine and car is running flawlessly like a stock. The snails are crawling slowly but surely.

Hey Scott,

Putting the snails in I can do it in couple weeks but the hardest obsticle I am facing right now is the EMS. I will be contacting a local shop and he is also a member of my forum to go over possibility of using a Mega Squirt since I only need Fuel and Timing control for eight 1000 cc injectors. I just purchased a TH400 adaptor kit from a member here and will be rebuild the TH400 tranny soon and put the whole thing in all at once.

I test drove Steve's car last night with 6 psi feel way better then a 1jzgte SC300 with 10 psi. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...5&postcount=56 Imagine that in a 4.7L.

My motor is broken in now... I put in about 5,000 miles and we took the motor out and preparing to install the twin turbo along with the TH400 transmission. This will take 3-5 weeks but I will try to update you guys with it. I will be getting my turbo headers/downpipes begining of next week. I will take my time. No rush and no pressure.

Hey Scott,

We pull the engine with the tranny too without the hood coming off. However, we did have to loose one end of the shocks to allow greater opening. Took my mechanic (personally hired) two hours to yank the motor/tranny out. We also tried to install the Ebay SS Tundra headers as a way for the SC400 NA to increase more HP, but they wouldnt fit..... Here is a disappointing picture for you guys....

This project is really nice. If the car is dynoed at 800 rwhp, it should have more than 900 rwtq. Nothing can beat bigger displacement. How fast can it go? Low 10 secs per 1/4 mile?
