WAKE UP! if you have never driven v8 or v10 cars then you need to wake up!! you will NOT GET any better mileage(s) from v8 rides.
remember you got lots of power under your gas pedal, torque and great sounding car... this is no honda or cavalier 4 banger.

Here's one for you, WAKE UP.... I have a 300 HP 4,000 lb Mercedes Benz with a 4.3L V8 that will eat my Sc4 while going in reverse and I get 26+mpg and do it in twice the luxury so stop kidding yourself.

(of course I have a boosted vvti 2jz that gets 18 mpg, but I get to blur my vision doing it so screw the gas mileage )

Ahh, but how much newer is that MB hmm? I think the Lexus V8 of the same vintage which added the VVTi and 5spd auto would about match those mpg figures you get from the Benz. Just can't expect a 12-15yo nonVVTi V8 engine mated to a 4spd auto to be as efficient as V8's that are < 10 yrs old.

That's not what he said, that is an entirely different point. He gave MULTIPLE examples.

How do those wheels ride? are they bumpy?
are they 22s?
It looks like you got about an inch of rubber between the rim and the ground.
How are they at high speeds?
I like the look but I have been debating the practicality of it for me.
I do a lot of high speed highway driving.

The SC's have a 20.6gallon tank completely dry. The gas light I think comes on at around 18gallons. In the city I'm getting about 16mpg... highway I get around 20. I baby the throttle too. I can't complain though, the car was handed down to me, at least I have a car to drive around in.

Haha, I thought by your answer that you were expecting to get the same economy out of the Lexus is all.

ok back to topic.

some members on here are getting around 18-20mpg and some are getting 12-15. so yeah this something wrong here. I used to get around 18mpg, now I am 15mpg.

After reading the whole thread members have stated 02 sensors, will not affect the gas millage.
I did my plugs, cleaned the throttle body, etc

I might try to reset the ecu, unplug the negative bat for 15min

maybe do plug wires and cap and rotor. Some of friends are saying my millage went down cause I have 19 wheels on now
