I just tuned my 2JZ-GTE swapped SC a few days ago on the dynojet. 371whp was what I got. As I was tuning, people were telling me that my numbers were more than most people make, but I didn't really have much to compare it with. All I have is a full exhaust (3in downpipe, and a Y pipe that goes down to 2.5in out each side), no cats, HKS FMIC, stock twins, no boost controller or BCC either. I was gonna turn the boost up, but I figured since I have like another 10k in parts to install, which includes a single kit, what's the point? It was just to see where I was at and to make sure the tune was safe after the FMIC install. Where is everone experiencing boost cut at? I haven't hit it yet, and don't have my boost gauge hooked up yet, but I was told that boost cut on a supra is at a pretty modest boost level. I'll post the dyno plot up tomorrow or the day after, as I won't be at the shop for a day or 2, but do these numbers seem like they're correct? Thanks.
AEM. It has an SAFC in it right now, but I really only use AEM's on cars I tune. I already have the AEM, I'm just waiting for PTE to send the turbo to the shop, so I can throw that on along with the AEM.
Nice bpu numbers I will be doing a usdm swap pretty soon will stay on stock twins until I really figure out what I want. What size single are you going with?
Probably a 4088R, but I've been toying with a few ideas. 550whp on pump gas is what I want out of it, but with good response, so I'll pretty much narrow it down based on that.
