SC570 anyone?
Has anyone tossed around the idea of swapping a Tundra 5.7 into an SC? At381 hp and 401 lb ft, It should move the SC nicely. What about fit and practicality? Am I just obsessed with size?

The engine is still very expensive. I was quoted $15,000 for a wrecked Tundra drivetrain. I am doing a 4.7L for my SC. In about few years then the price will be more affortable.

I can pick up a 2000 Tundra V-8 for $8k Not wrecked, rough body, excellent running condition. I saw the thread for the 4.7, it's what gave me the idea. I can't wait to see yours when done!

The idea was to find a SC with a bad motor and I would start from scratch. Finding an SC300 5 speed would be like winning the lottery. At least one that hasn't been molested.

i was thinking about that idea a few months back...
watching those tundras commercials.. made me wonder.. what if u could stuff that massive engine in the SC. maybe you can tow a 10 ton trailer or watever.. hmm..
but yea. that would be awesome.. wont te engine be a bit heavy?

why swap a 5.7l tundra motor for 8k when you can throw 8k into a 2jzge to 1.5jz swap or 1uz TT setup which would make WAY more power and everything would be new and rebuilt instead of used with 30-40k on it.
