Estimate my dyno numbers.

The general consensus is that a max of 15psi on the stock turbos is recommended before you start playing with fire.
There are always exceptions to the rule where guys have miraculously ran 19psi on the stock turbos for 20k miles without any backlash. But, for every guy doing that, there are five of them whose became blown on 14psi.
A steel wheel upgrade should not be that expensive if you find a quality shop that will not overcharge you. I can probably grab a set of turbos from Surpaforums for real checp if you wanted to be able to shop around more easily and not disable your car. Many Aussies run 20psi on steel wheeled turbos.

Sorry Shern I just noticed that you replied on here, those are excellent numbers man. Now that Blizzy has got me a little shook, im thinking of taking the Soarer down a notch, maybe to 13psi or so. Rebuilding the stock twins is something I will have to put more time into, just so much stuff to do to it ya know.

What boost was those numbers made on?? They seem Low in my opinion. What I mean by that is my bro just dyno'd his 7m yesterday, with a worn stock turbo and made 324rwhp/317tq at 13psi. He has pretty much the same mods as you, fmic 2.5" piping, hks BOV, maft pro, walbro 255, AFPR, 3" turboback exhaust. I know my friend mark made around 450 with stock twins on a 2jzgte.

I would be glad to. He rented the dyno for 2 hours and he said he dyno'd 57 times.. Well, not all FULL dyno runs because he kept hitting fuel cut and then made adjustments. Started at 280rwhp at 9psi and couldnt get more than 9psi and found his boost controller was hooked up wrong so we got that taken care of and just gradually kept upping his fuel pressure and making changes on the maft pro until he made his final number.
