Default Rim fitment....I know I read the "Sticky"

I don't see anyone running an 18" 8.5 front 9.5 rear wheel with a 35mm backspacing? Would these stick out horribly?

The wheel fitment sticky says you can go as low as 38 but I see guys with 24" backspacing and just slightly rolled fenders?

Can't seem to find anyone that ran a 35mm backspacing... I'm torn I found a great deal on knock off ADR rims that look like the Ruff rims I want but they are of course 35mm BS...

What do you all think? Could I get away with it and not get the roller skate look? Just shaved or slightly rolled fenders?

Also if it matters the factory ride height is going to be dropped 1/2 inch. When my supra struts and springs arrive.

thanks!

Easy to fit. I've only got +41mm all round on mine and I'm chucking spacers on because I hate how sunken it looks.

You didn't read the whole sticky. I had that same exact setup at one point when I had 18's. I was lowered on espelir springs(2") and they tucked.

you have broken rule number 2 of the SC fourm

2. never lie to the O.G's

but I feel you were trying to avoid breaking rule number 17 --
17. no sunken rims...

you have to read the whole thread. It will answer questions you have and some you haven't thought of....

Im suprised you didnt find anythign in those offsets. Those seem to be the MOST common for cheap rims. 8.5/9.5 +35. They will fit easy, but I would seriously consider some spacers to make them look better.

Add in the cost of the spacers and you could use that extra $200 for something better?

200 bucks for spacers? That seems high to me.... Where are you getting the spacers from? How large of a spacer would be needed would I have to get longer wheel studs or something?

Reading through that rim thread would take days theres like 100 pages... but I did come up with this... And they are claiming 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with a 35mm offset sets the rims flush with the fenders? Is this correct? Or is there also misinformation in the sacred tire/rim fitment thread?

From reading thru these forums +35 makes the rims flush with the fender. So +20 should stick out 10mm, correct? I am going for an aggressive look, but would this look to aggressive for a stock body? Also can someone recommend tire sizes. I am willing to roll the rear fenders, but would rather not roll the fronts.
thanks in advance.
And this...

Here's my contribution....
Kazera KZ-A
F 18x8.5 +38mm 245/40
R 18x9.5 +35mm 285/35
Shaved rear's
Great fitment!
