i actually did not install the new alternator. the alternator i have in the car is FINE. i did an alternator test, started up my car, took off the negative and the car was running. Took off both the negative AND positive, car was STILL running. alternator should be fine. the battery i purchased that was NEW just sucked i guess?? I had another issue though, after i put a NEW battery in it, the car started up and the idle slowly dropped until the car died. I was able to start the car up again without a problem though. Not sure what it is this time, the car drives though. Right now it seems fine, I don't know what the problem is right now. I believe that the computer was relearning because I unplugged the battery. Anyway have any suggestions?
