New trans finally on the way, should be in not-too-terribly-long from now before the season's over I'm hoping. Going to hit the track a few times and give it a proper beating to see where we stand. I'll try to update this when I make some progress. I've also heard from a pretty reputable source that the transmission without the 07 interim design change is more reliable, which is what I'm snagging up now. Basically, mid 2007 GM changed the mount design for the GXP's, so anything up until then is what you want.

alright. flywheel bolts decided to back out, that was fantastic, almost lost my legs... also.... do not get the 07 and up trans... anything up to mid 07 before the interim design change in mid year is what you want definitely.... really can't be ****ed explaining it now, super frustrated with this whole thing...

Borg Warner S372, crower springs, 272 cams, AEM EMS, ID 1000cc injectors, LS1 coil's, custom sheetmetal intake manifold, 4" dump&4" cutout, all the other supporting ****, complete motor rebuild, custom spec HD pressure plate&unsprung center iron clutch.
I honestly haven't got a clue in regards to power at the wheels. The 240 put down 860 on the dyno with this motor&setup, however I'm running significantly less boost atm. Upped it to 20 a few days ago, was running around 13 before, she's a handful now. I'm positive the 06 trannies are the way to go.
Car weighs about 2800lbs.

Long overdue update, but, got through a season on the new trans beating the crap out of it. Held up and hasn't skipped a beat! Just make sure to run the GM fluid and not Redline or any other ****.

Has anyone figured out how to Get the shifter in the correct position? I think I'll be going with this when I get my ducks in a row with my Na-t 240sx (s13)
