GTE Swap issues
Back in September I bough Jarret's white 92 GTE/v160 swapped sc. I finally got around to getting my wideband installed on the only to discover it is running stupid lean. It has hit 17:1 AFR in 1st and 2nd and runs 16:1 AFR in 4th at WOT. If you keep the throttle and boost down to 10-12psi it will run closer to acceptable 12.2-12.8:1 AFRs . You can feel the car fall on its face when it goes this lean. It is not as sudden as a fuel cut but more like it just bogs down. What the hell would cause it to run that lean. The car has stock jdm twins, supposedly 550cc US injectors a blitz pump and stock MAP based JDM ecu set up.
Here are pics of no.1 and no.2 plugs confirming the lean condition.
A further testament to its poor running condition under WOT is the fact that it ran a blistering 8.9@78mph in the 1/8 mile, I about cried.

i assume you used the soarer or 255 fuel pump? how old is your fuel filter?
those plugs are way too old to get an accurate reading on them. it appears the car runs pretty rich somtimes....part throttle, start up?
throw in a new set...make a pull....shut the car off at the top of the gear...pull it out and take pictures...then you can diagnose a little better from the plug, read timing etc. if you varrified your AFR on a wideband you know what the problem is though, so may be unnecessary

Head to this local forum (http://mipsport.informe.com) and ask the owner of the site. He has an SC300 that has an American based 2JZGTE swap done to it. I believe he has upgraded the turbos and added a larger FMIC upon other things. He may be able to answer questions about. I don't know him well but he drives this car all the time, so it must be at least reasonably reliable.
