Nate - Sorry to hijack your thread.. Not at all trying to steal the spotlight

Got my baseline done tongiht. I need to figure out how to load the vid and dyno chart.

Best pull was 285 whp 287 trq

Stock boost - creeped to about 14-15psi
Stock DP and Midpipe with stock SC cat

Only mods are Catback exhaust, random intake, and a FMIC w BOV

Im happy with those numbers. The Y pipe and 3inch DP and midpipe are going on now. Ill see what the boost is at that point and turn it up to 17-18 psi and see if I can break the 300 whp mark.

Thanks to Joe (9secCivic) @ tempest racing for the baseline dyno

stock ceramic turbos.. Im sure Ill blow them at some point. Then again I only drive the car like once every 2 weeks or so. Once they go then I guess Ill be forced to go single. I should save some money haha

Is a downpipe and exhaust really worth 40rwhp? Cause these dyno's of 1jz's are low low numbers!! My 7m made 270 at 7-8psi with only an exhaust and filter, and my bros made 324 at 13 psi with hard pipes and some other simple bolt ons.

hell if you can change a couple exhaust parts and pick up that much power i'd say its well worth it. not to mention when you go single you will need a bigger exhaust anyways.

blair i'll post your graph in a sec.

This is stock 1jz from a soarer (rated 280hp @ crank) so if you do the math the numbers are in the genera area. 15%-20% drivetrain parasitec loss. and you get 286-293 at the crank. Some one correct me if I am wrong. But those I think is correct and healthy numbers for a stock engine.
