Assorted questions
Okay fellers,
I was just given access to a professional subscription to AllDataPro. I read on how to do the spark plugs and it says when removing the throttle body, you have to drain the coolant. Do you really have to drain the coolant to do this procedure? I just put new coolant in a few weeks ago and really don't want to have to do it again.
Also, if I drain the transmission fluid, how much fluid do I need? AllData says that a "dry fill" takes around 8 qts. while a drain and fill requires less than two. I want to get all the fluid out and replace it. Do I have to drop the pan or can I just drain it through the plug?
Danke!

Thank God.
I thought that sounded stupid.
What about the transmission flush fill? If I do it just like an oil change how much is required? (drain through drain hole and fill through dipstick tube)

Yea coolant will come out depending on where you disconnect that hose on the throttle body. I left it attached to the throttle body and disconnected it at the other end so it kept dripping out. I just plugged it up until I was done.
