Damn... Photobucket pics aren't showing. This thread is the one of the best I have found so far about clutch install. And I have been looking for a week.
Even without the pictures it is still valuable. Thanks for the write up!

Gunnar, you say that the Dual Friction isn't holding well for you. Can you elaborate? What power levels are you running? Does the clutch hold on a lift throttle shift? I'm NA-T (around 400rwhp) running the 5spd with a Horsepower Freaks clutch setup that is brutal in terms of chatter and quick release. It squeals, and is noisy to boot. I'd like something more polite for a NA-T --- I don't race anymore, and don't speed shift, but I'd need something that will at least clamp reasonably well in the 350rwhp level when driven moderately. I thought the Centerforce DF would do the job. Am I wrong?

Im about to start changing my clutch and this is a big help. Just for anyone who needs to know(it took me forever to find and the dealer was no help)
Torque specs
Flywheel to crank 36 ft/lbs
Pressure Plate to flywheel 14 ft/lbs
I'll take some pics while I'm working on it and try and post some up for people. I would think there would be more info on this but it was very hard to find.

This is definitely not the way to do it according to the FSM.
The flex coupling should be left attached to the propeller shaft (so only 3 bolts need removal) and matchmarks should be made for proper alignment when re-attaching back to the diff flange. Also, if you break apart the shaft at the center support bearing, you need to matchmark that too. If you fail to do so, you can't complain about weird vibration issues that arise afterward.

I loved my Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. Pedal feel was very similar to the oem clutch and was smooth around town. It held my power for at least 2 1/2 years. I was at 309 rwhp, drag raced, did multiple launches, power shifted, and some auto crossing as well. After a year I was probably around 350-370 rwhp. I actually broke my W58 before my clutch even started slipping. So now on my current W58 I rarely do launches and shift hard. My new 6 puck can handle it easily but not the transmission if I abuse it.

I just bought The same clutch as well as Redline MT 90 Trans fluid and new Flex coupler.
Should be doing it before months end.
Question what year car/transmission do you have? I was thinking about buying a new shifter bushing. How did yours look? I know on 95-97 W58 the shifter makeup is different and the only way to change the bushing is to drop the transmission.
I didnt buy the bushing yet and dont know if i should hold of on my clutch job until i do.
