Hey guys,
I'm trying to get my SC looking sharp and working properly. Well, I'm also particular about certain things and having an auto shifter that has play is a no, no for me. What do I need to buy or change in order to stop the shifter from being so loose? I noticed there's a pin there, but I don't if that's what I need to buy or not. I looks broke to me though, but again, I don't know if this is what causes the play. Any help?

I just got my sc400 yesterday and I have the same thing and yes it was the FIRST thing I wanted to fix. I guess the Incredible Hulk owned the car before me and felt the need to slam it into Drive. I tried rigging some thing to hold the shifter towards the driver side but it fell out by the time I wrestled the bezel back into place. I gave up then, but am interested in any fixes.
