T-61 installed, Troubleshooting...
Finally after a long week we were able to start the car today. The Turbo is in, Manifold, Intercooler, piping, Oil lines, BOV, Wastgate(not hooked up though), and DP . I still need to install the E-manage blue and boost controller in the next few days.dont even have a good wiring diagram as of yet. I will post some pics when i am done. Well i drove the car today but it seems to idle a little strange. I checked all the piping and seems like there is no leaks. Checked the timing and it was set to 10 degrees. When i barely step on the gas its fine, when i give it more gas it seems like it will die on me. I am not sure if it is doing that because of the E-manage not being installed or the Wastegate. Did anyone here have this problem or what is it???
What shall i do about the 02 sensors? Mine is a 95 SC300 and has the OBD1. the 02 does not fit the DP.. Answering these questions would really help me.
thanks

U think the car was trying to boost and thats when it starts to die. At first it was anything past 2500 rpms. It doesnt do that anymore. But it seems like its gonna die everytime i give it more gas. I will post pics really soon.

Well the pipe wouldnt fit on the wastegate. There is no room for it and has to be cut. Does that make it an open DP??

Might want to try www.clubna-t.com. From what I've read on that site before going na-t, most guys had a hard time getting the greddy e-manage to work properly(for the SC300's) and that's why I decided to stick with a SAFC2 considering I wasn't looking for huge HP for the time being.
15,000 miles later and my car still runs great(knock on wood)!

well if you don't have any O2 sensors, how do you, or more importantly, the car have any idea bout the AFR? Not trying to be a smart ***, but maybe I missed something here??? I would start by getting some O2s plumbed in there
