Default NA-T conversion. What is this and do I need it?

What exactly does this do? And should I have it hooked up? Is it ok for it to receive positive manifold pressure?

Also what is this solenoid for? Is it beneficial to have it hooked up?

Thanks...

The first one I just have looped back into the intake manifold because I didn't feel like capping them off. The second is one of the VSV's that I eliminated on my setup, but I don't know what you have or don't have that would allow you to do the same.

umm doesn't that first one route air into the IACV?
I thought that was important for those not running standalone?

The first one is a simple vac line, it does nothing. You can block it off and everything will be A-O-K.
