Default How many people are running the 2jz-gte head on a stock ge bottom end

I want to know how many sc's have this unique setup. I am wondering if this is a cheaper route to go instead of going with a total motor swap..

Do the actual math of all the misc parts you're going to need to complete it. I was in the same boat as you and sat down and did the actual math calculating EVERY BIT of expense the absolute lowest price out... I would've been stupid to go the GE route. Do the math, it'll make the choice alot easier.
