Thanks Kruso. I was pretty sure that the manual brake pedal was needed from the SC 5speed for clearance issues. Nice to have it confirmed.

uhm...sorry if i came off as an a*hole. i was just trying to help. im not an all knowledgeable mangod. to answer you questions: it doesnt matter which mk3 its out off. turbo or non turbo. you would either need a manual sc300 brake pedal assembly or just cut your stock brake pedal to size...like i did in 240 when i swapped.
