Default Muffler suggestion? dual tip or single?

anyways i'm going to do full magnaflow exhaust soon with 2.5 inch piping, cats, x-pipe and headers...now it's all done to the mufflers. i've seen how both would look on our cars but need some suggestion and input. I don't have bodykit and will probably not going to get one. I'm going for the clean look and don't need a muffler that touches the ground

these are some of the ones i have in mind

Dual FTW since you have no body kit.

dual evens things out. i don't have a problem with single, though.

I'd say dual all the way, looks more balanced.

With those types of mufflers it would look better dual.

+1^^, I would only go single if you were getting a JDM style exhaust, maybe one that has a nice angle to it.

yeah but since my SC's bumper is the older version with the circular muffler opening, would it look funny with dual?

Nope, if I were you, i would get a set of magnaflow muffler that doesnt have a tip attach to it already and find some tips that you like that would fit perfect on the stock bumper. That's such good advise I think I'll follow my own train of thought. haha

I voted for single. I think dual will look nice, but with circle muffler opening, it might look funny. The 300zx came stock with dual tips, but the exhaust opening on the Z are rectangular.

I have single Magnaflows on mine and I love it. They fit the exhaust cutouts perfect on the SC!

HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you widen the exhaust cutouts to a rectangular-oval shape, I guarantee you that the duals would look fresh! Quad pipes, hmmmmmm, that's an idea.

Do you mean twin tips on each muffler? In that case I'd say single. If you're talking about a single or twin muffler I say twin unless you've filled the other cut out.
